MSDNAA FAQ's

Am I eligible? How can I get access to downloads?
MSDNAA downloads are available to students who are enrolled for one or more units in Computer Science Department. Every semester students enrolled for CS courses are automatically added to the access list for MSDNAA downloads in about 5-7 business days after the last add/drop date. An automatic email (from e-academy.com) is sent to students once they are added. Access is automatically disabled every semester on or after the last day of class.

What is my login information?
Please use your USC email address as login on the MSDNAA site.
If you do not know or remember your password, please use the 'login help' on the 'e-academy' download site.

I still can't login and don't seem to have received any email notification. How do I request access?
MSDNAA access list is refreshed at the beginning of every semester. If it has been more than 2 weeks after the last add/drop date of the current semester, you can request access to MSDNAA downloads via email. Please send the below information to csit@usc.edu. It may take us 5-10 business days to process your request. Requests placed in the last three weeks of current semester can't be processed.

  • 10-digit USC id number
