[MS] Data Internship Available 2026-2027 (PSIP)

Applications for the 2026-2027 cohort of the President’s Sustainability Internship Program are now open! This is a paid, internship program connecting students with co-curricular learning opportunities to help advance our sustainability goals here at USC. This is our largest hiring cycle yet and we are looking for exceptional students to fill a number of positions, including three data focused positions below:

• Sustainable Operations Data Intern (mentored by Dr. Julie Hopper, OoS)

  • Focus on Scope 3 emissions data and our Assignment: Earth Dashboard

    • Skills in Python or R and PowerBI are needed

• Sustainability Data Intern (mentored by Dr. Julie Hopper, OoS)

  • Focus on analyzing and summarizing data, streamlining pipelines and updating RShiny Dashboards

    • Must be comfortable using R and Rshiny

  • LLM implementation

• Facilities Dashboard Intern (mentored by Blanca Linares, FPM)

  • Focus on PowerBi dashboards

  • Cleaning, summarizing and visualizing data with R or Python
