The USC Viterbi iPodia Program brings together students from 14 iPodia Alliance universities on four continents to engage in synchronous and asynchronous peer learning. Using the “classrooms-without-borders” platform, iPodia students collaborate on various learning activities in person and online, and they work on team projects continuously in small and large groups.
We are currently looking to hire an on-campus student starting in Summer 2026 to help develop and maintain software systems that support the operational and programmatic needs of the department.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain features in a Django-based web application
• Operate and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment, including Teams and related Microsoft services
• Build data integration modules using Microsoft Graph API
• Support cloud migration and deployment on Microsoft Azure
• Design scalable system architectures
• Develop and deploy a Microsoft Copilot TA agent for student support, content summarization, and collaboration in Teams
• Collaborate with faculty and staff on Microsoft technical solutions
Skills:
o (Required) Experiences and knowledge of Django and Python
o (Preferred) Experience working with Microsoft 365 products in an operational or administrative capacity
o (Preferred) Experience in Microsoft Azure, Teams, Graph API, and Copilot
o (Preferred) Experience integrating applications with Microsoft Teams or other Microsoft 365 services.
o (Preferred) Working knowledge of NLP and LLMs
o Experience in IT system architecture design
We are looking for a student who can work on campus over the summer and will be graduating
in Spring 2027 or later.
Working Days/Hours: in person 10 – 20 hours per week, flexible days, and hours.
