On behalf of the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence, or SCAI, at Arizona State University, I would like to share our current faculty openings with your department’s graduating doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers. SCAI is part of the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at ASU, one of the nation’s largest computing and engineering programs. Our community includes 81 tenured and tenure-track faculty and 39 teaching, research and professors or practice who together have earned 29 NSF CAREER Awards and hold more than 21 fellowships from leading professional societies, including the National Academy of Engineering. With nearly 11,000 students across 16 degree programs, SCAI offers nationally ranked opportunities in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, industrial engineering and computer engineering. In FY24, our eight major research centers submitted $189 million in proposals, received $45.5 million in awards and supported a vibrant culture of discovery with $31.5 million in research expenditures. We seek candidates who will contribute to our spirit of innovation and collaboration through impactful research, student mentorship and engagement with our diverse and interdisciplinary community.
