We are currently soliciting applications for undergraduate research opportunities USC Marshall DSO Summer Scholars in Data Science and Operations Management/Research Program!
The DSO Summer Scholars program is a program consisting of mentored undergraduate research and professional development via weekly skills-building seminars and community-building lunches. More information on the DSO Summer Scholars website; the deadline for this year is March 28, 2025.
As part of the program, we’re looking to select four talented undergraduates from math, engineering, or computer science from southern California schools to name as summer scholars, funded by the DSO department. Such scholars would be invited to attend the annual “SoCal OM/OR Conference” on May 16 at UCI and would be paired with a faculty mentor(s) in DSO for the summer to either serve as a research assistant or just receive mentorship. The stipend for the summer is $5000 for 10 weeks for a research assistantship.
