We are pleased to announce a new class offering for Fall 2026! Please review the information below and the attached flyer for details. This course is open to all upper-division Viterbi students.
CHE 499: Data Centers: Energy, Water, and Society
The course is designed to provide an understanding of the hottest topic in the news: Data Centers. What are the engineering challenges and market forces driving growth? And what are the technical challenges and solutions to meet rising water and electricity demands? Instructors will answer these questions and teach students how to communicate about data centers in a variety of contexts.
