The ICAROS lab is seeking motivated undergraduate and master's students to join our research team. We have open positions for the upcoming fall and spring semesters to work on robotics and foundation models. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, contribute to ongoing research projects, and learn more about these exciting areas. The project explores recent methods for language-conditioned robot control, including Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models, and provides an opportunity to build practical experience in robot learning and foundation models. The ideal candidate has experience applying foundation models and is comfortable programming in Python. Experience with robotics, reinforcement learning, or simulation environments such as MuJoCo is a plus, but not required.
