Quality-Diversity Optimization Researcher
We are looking for one or two students to contribute to a research project in Quality Diversity (QD) optimization. This project is a great opportunity to build a strong, practical foundation in machine learning and QD optimization by implementing and experimenting with core algorithms to understand how they work from the ground up.
The ideal candidate will have a good grasp of the math behind machine learning (linear algebra, probability, optimization) and is comfortable with programming in Python. Prior experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and JAX is a plus.
