The following announcement is from AthenaHacks. Please contact them directly if you have any questions.
Applications to attend AthenaHacks, Southern California’s premier hackathon for women and students with marginalized gender identities, are now open!
Happening for a tenth year on March 28-29, 2026, AthenaHacks is open to all levels of experience, majors, and backgrounds (all 18+ undergraduate students and masters students are welcome)! Our mission is to support and nurture women and individuals with marginalized gender identities and close the gender gap in tech.
At AthenaHacks, you’ll have the opportunity to learn, network, and grow through project building, technical and professional workshops, and speaker series. Absolutely no experience is necessary, we’ll provide you with everything you need to get started! Everything is free! Our past sponsors have included Microsoft, Google Cloud, Disney, Bloomberg, Invoca and more; we’ll have thousands of dollars worth of prizes to compete for! Additionally, the first 150 hacker applicants will receive an exclusive sticker!
