The following announcement is from [USC Annenberg Media]. Please contact them directly if you have any questions.

We’re a team of journalists from USC Annenberg Media, and we’re looking for research participants to test our cutting-edge AI-powered news-reading web app called Flipop. This is a paid opportunity.

The web app we are testing has the ability to help you discover, understand, and engage with news that matters to you—faster and smarter. The test session will be around 45 minutes, and each participant will get to:
– Explore the main features of our product
– Discover news in a personalized way with AI-driven topic discovery and news summaries
– Share your thoughts and feedback—we’d love to hear from you!
The test session can be conducted on campus or over Zoom, and will be done in the next 3 weeks. Each participant will receive a compensation of $12 after completing the session.

Ideal participants:

– Current USC student
– Regular news readers (using news websites)
– Interest in or knowledge of AI is a plus!
