The following announcement is from Athena Saghi. Please contact them directly if you have any questions.
Are you using AI agents in spreadsheets (e.g., Claude in Excel)?
I’m a graduate researcher at USC studying a critical challenge: How do users verify that AI-generated spreadsheet outputs are actually correct?
Unlike “vibe coding” in software, spreadsheet errors can hide across thousands—or even millions—of records, making verification much harder and higher stakes.
I’m building tools to help users better audit, verify, and stay in control of AI-generated spreadsheet logic, and I’m looking for participants for:
- A brief initial survey
- A short user study testing a verification tool on top of a spreadsheet agent
Your feedback will directly shape how these tools are designed.
If you’re interested, I’d love to hear from you. You can join us by filling out this survey.
