The following announcement is from HaRVI Lab. Please contact them directly if you have any questions.
The HaRVI (Haptics Robotics and Virtual Interaction) Lab is conducting an IRB-approved user study to explore how humans allocate perception across different sources when experiencing virtual textures.
During the study, you will wear headphones for audio cues and use the 3DS Touch device to sense haptic feedback, as well as visual cues on screen. We would like to invite you to participate in this study.
The experiment consists of three phases, lasting approximately 20, 20, and 10 minutes, respectively. Throughout these phases, you will interact with virtual textures and provide ratings based on the perceptual information available to you. A short survey will be conducted at the end.
- Location: Ronald Tutor Hall, 4th floor, RTH 419
- Duration: The entire experiment will take about 1 hour.
