[UG/MS] Research Study Rrecruitment

The HaRVI Lab (Haptics Robotics and Virtual Interaction) is conducting an IRB-approved study on how people perceive and describe textures. We would like to invite you to participate.

What you’ll do: During the study, you’ll use a Phantom Omni Touch haptic device to feel haptic textures while viewing corresponding visuals on screen. You’ll provide ratings and use language to describe and create different textures.

Time commitment: The study takes approximately 30 minutes total:
Two experimental phases (20 minutes)
Final survey (10 minutes)

• Location:Ronald Tutor Hall, 4th floor, RTH 416
• Duration:The entire experiment will take about 1 hour.
