Each semester, Scope brings together a new cohort of USC students to learn real-world tech skills, work on projects you can show off, and join a supportive community. This semester, we’re teaching AI Systems Engineering: an incredibly useful and relevant skill in industry today. You’ll start with fun lessons, build towards a tangible final project where you’ll create your very own Resume Builder Agent, and end with a hackathon, giving you several impressive pieces to add to your resume or portfolio.

We also bring the industry to you through Catalyst, our brand new career development program designed to help you navigate tech recruiting. Scope organizes tech talks and recruiting events with major companies, VC firms, and startups, so you can hear directly from industry professionals, connect with recruiters, and start exploring career opportunities early. Many of our members have gone on to work at top tech companies like Google, Meta, and Bloomberg.

But Scope isn’t just about coding, it’s about people. We host weekly socials, game nights, retreats, and more so you can find your group of motivated, curious, and fun CS friends to make USC feel a little smaller (and a lot more fun).
