Dear all,
We are looking for motivated MS/UG students to join our AI for health research projects this summer (starting as early as April is preferred), with the goal of producing impactful research publications. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of AI and healthcare.
We are currently recruiting voluntary summer research interns for the following projects:
1. AI for Designing Clinical Trials for Medical LLMs
Develop AI methods and tools to design clinical trial frameworks for evaluating medical LLMs.
Requirements: Experience with LLMs and deep learning. No medical background needed.
2. LLMs for Mental Health Diagnosis and Counseling
Develop trustworthy LLMs for mental health diagnosis and AI-supported counseling.
Requirements: Experience with LLMs and deep learning. No medical background needed.
3. Synthetic Medical Data Generation with Foundation Models
Focus on generating high-quality, multimodal synthetic medical data using foundation models.
Requirements: Deep learning research experience. No medical background required.
4. AI for Medical Imaging in Radiation Oncology
A collaboration with the Department of Radiation Oncology at Keck School of Medicine.
Work includes image segmentation and dose prediction using deep learning.
Requirements: Experience with computer vision research. No medical background needed.
