USC Graduate Student Government Travel Grants for Conference Support

At this time the CS Department does not provide funding for M.S. candidates to attend a conference.  However, all USC graduate students who pay the Student Programming Fee are eligible for a Travel Grant (partial reimbursement) if you are:

a) presenting original research, or
b) attending a conference related to your field of study.

The purpose of the GSG Conference Travel Program is to partially reimburse the expenses incurred by graduate students during travel to conferences that are related to the student’s major field of study. The GSG Travel Grant Program is to be considered supplemental to other sources of funding and applicants are expected to seek travel funds from their departments, advisors, or other outside sources.

Looking ahead as you plan your attendance at spring conferences, they will accept applications for Spring 2013 travel reimbursement beginning in May 2013.

Additional information, including the Application Procedures and Guidelines, can be found on the USC Graduate Student Government website. You might also check out the FAQs before submitting your questions to the GSG.
