I’m Lei Chen from Solidigm in San Jose, California. I lead AI/ML initiatives for SSD firmware and intelligent storage systems, and we are currently recruiting strong M.S. and Ph.D. students for a 2027 Machine Learning internship.
The intern will work on real-world AI/ML problems for next-generation enterprise SSDs, including machine learning and deep learning, time-series modeling and anomaly detection, AI-assisted failure analysis and root-cause diagnosis, agentic AI and LLM-based engineering automation, and AI model optimization and integration with real engineering systems.
We are particularly interested in students in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Engineering, or related areas who have strong hands-on AI/ML experience.
The position is based in San Jose, California, with a six-month internship preferred. There may also be an opportunity for full-time employment upon successful completion of the internship.
