Student applications are officially open for Develop for Good’s Winter 2027 Program! đ
If youâre looking to:

Gain hands-on experience in design and development,
-
Volunteer your technical skills and impact up to thousands of lives,

Receive personalized guidance from industry professionals while building out a real-world project, and
-
Collaborate (and make new friends!) with fellow tech students from colleges everywhere,
then join a project team at Develop for Good in developing tech products for a variety of incredible nonprofits. Our past nonprofit partners include the World Health Organization, UNICEF, and the Smithsonian Institution.
Youâll get matched into project teams with fellow students and new grads from colleges everywhere based on your skills + social impact interests, and work closely with leaders at these nonprofits for 5-10 hours/week for 16 weeks. Youâll also receive mentorship from professionals at tech companies (like Bloomberg, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, etc.) as you make progress. We currently have limited spots open for student volunteer Managers, Designers, and Engineers.
Fellows Program (Financial Support): Weâre committed to making our program accessible. Full-time students at a U.S. accredited college or university who are first-generation, low-income, or underrepresented in tech may be eligible for a needs-based $1,536 unrestricted cash grant upon completion of the program.

đ Program runs October 25, 2026 to February 20, 2027 (fully remote)
đ Commitment: 5-10 hours/week for 16 weeks + 1 Holiday Week
