The following announcement is from Joana Lachica. Please contact them directly if you have any questions.
Dear USC Community,
The Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) Program invites you to attend the WiSE Info Session on Thursday, March 5 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM in DRB 232!
Join us for refreshments and hear directly from current WiSE researchers and program leaders about their experiences in the WiSE Undergraduate Research Experience and the application process.
The WiSE Undergraduate Research Experience provides upper-level undergraduate students with first-hand experience in laboratory-based research, and to thereby encourage promising students to pursue graduate studies in the sciences and/or engineering. Upperclassmen who have an established working relationship with a faculty mentor submit a research project proposal. If awarded, they commit to participating in WiSE programming efforts throughout the academic year and receive a substantial grant to conduct research. For most students this research will be conducted during the summer months.
We encourage all interested undergraduate students to attend and learn how to get involved. To RSVP, please click here.
For any questions, please email lachicam@usc.edu. We hope to see you there!
