I am writing to share a cybersecurity faculty opportunity at Michigan Technological University’s College of Computing. We are currently seeking outstanding candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in cybersecurity.
Michigan Tech is the state’s flagship technological university and a Carnegie R1 institution. We welcome applicants with expertise in areas such as security and privacy, machine learning for security, cloud security, cryptography, data integrity, information governance, risk management, penetration testing, auditing, digital forensics, and cyber-physical systems security, among others. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate the potential for high-impact independent research and a strong commitment to teaching. The anticipated start date is August 2026.
