CAIS++ (Center for Artificial Intelligence in Society’s Student Branch) is USC’s premier AI undergraduate organization. Our members work on high-impact machine learning projects that promote tangible social good. Past project topics have included climate epidemiology, viral genomics, computational linguistics, robotics, education, and more.
Applications to the CAIS++ 2025-2026 cohort are now open (https://forms.gle/cnnmjGQu2MVhjoqW7), and the deadline to apply is Wednesday, September 10th.
Each fall, our new members engage in a machine learning curriculum centered around deep learning. Our lessons prepare the cohort to contribute to our small-group research projects!
