My name is Erfan Sadeghi, and I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at USC. Our lab is currently seeking two developers for a paid position working on a neural network acceleration project. We are looking for candidates interested in compilers and/or heterogeneous computing. The main aspects of the project, where you can contribute to one or more areas, include:
- Developing the front-end of a compiler for mapping a given neural network to an FPGA
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity/experience with Python & PyTorch
- Familiarity/experience with LLVM, Apache TVM, & MLIR
- Familiarity/experience with state-of-the-art models such as transformers
- Familiarity/experience with different number representations: floating point, fixed point, binary, etc.
- Familiarity/experience with optimization and scheduling algorithms
