This summer, EIS and the USC Libraries are offering EIS 103: Information Literacy – Navigating Digital Misinformation. In this class, students will learn academic research skills and apply them to social media! This class satisfies the general ed -c (social analysis) requirement for Viterbi majors and minors.
If you think that your students would benefit from learning how to utilize effective research skills and examine ways that engineers can improve reliability of information on social media, please distribute the attached flyer.
Students can receive expedited D-clearance by emailing me at helenhch@usc.edu with their USC ID and Viterbi major/minor.
