Interns for Valero Lab

Are you passionate about robotics and artificial intelligence? Are you looking
to apply your knowledge in a hands-on, cutting-edge research project? We
are seeking a dedicated and talented intern to join our team and assist with
our project on machine learning (RL) in neuroscience, specifically focusing on
brain data (EEG, fMRI, DTI, and rs-fMRI).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Assist in developing and testing ML algorithms.
•Collaborate with our team to design, record, and
analyze data.
•Document research findings and present results
to the team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, program in
Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical
Engineering, or a related field.
•Strong understanding of machine learning concepts
(DNN, GNN, Transformer) and algorithms.
•Familiarity with brain data and machine learning
frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
•Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical
mindset.
•Ability to commit to at least two semesters
