The following announcement is from [MIT AI Conference]. Please contact them directly if you have any questions.

On behalf of the MIT AI Conference, we are excited to invite students from the University of Southern California to participate in our second annual AI Build Week. This event is the hackathon portion of our conference, where participants have the unique opportunity to build and pitch their own AI projects. We feel that this event would be beneficial to students studying in your program, and allow them an outlet to practice what they have learned! It would be great if you could share the website and details attached below to those in your community and others you feel may be interested.

MIT AI Conference is set to take place on October 26th. It embodies MIT’s tradition of “mens et manus” – applying technology for real-world impact. We convene a cross-section of leading academics, engineers, business executives, investors, and other experts from the AI community, who are at the forefront of solving the world’s most challenging problems through creative applications of emerging technologies. Together, we walk through new opportunities and provide a place for the community to connect and advance the deployment, implementation and scaling of AI strategies driving digital transformation across industries.

AI Build Week is a selective, intense program for experienced builders to come together and build prototypes beyond what one could do at a typical hackathon. This year, we are opening participation to teams from anywhere in the United States, offering a National platform to showcase innovative AI projects.

A select group of 10 finalist teams will be invited to our conference in New York, where they will pitch their projects to leaders in the AI industry. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage with thought-provoking panels and events throughout the conference.

This year’s hackathon theme is Generative Voice AI Solutions, with a focus on transforming customer service applications by creating ultra-realistic experiences. AI Build Week will take place from October 20th to October 21st, the full timeline is attached below.

Given the short timeline, we would greatly appreciate a prompt response. Registration will happen through a form and, emails with further details and instructions will be sent out to those registered, such as virtual office hours. You can also check out our website with more information here!

We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the Hackathon, feel free to email me at alisha@mitaiconfrence.org  We would also appreciate your help in forwarding this email and sharing the attached letter, which has more information about the hackathon, and registration form with your community of learners.
