The USC Institute for Creative Technologies (ICT) is seeking one (1) student worker. The project aims to build a terrain run-time simulation and rendering system to handle complex 3D environments. The goal is to develop a real-time application and investigate recent techniques such as NeRF and 3D Gaussian Splatting for high quality rendering and realistic simulations.
We have one (1) opening for the AI/Graphics Student Researcher position with game development focus. The student will work with ICT researchers to develop new techniques to enhance the 3D rendering and simulations. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge in programming with modern game engines such as Unity or Unreal. Previous experience in computer graphics or computer vision is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Unity/Unreal game engine and related programming skills (C++/C#).
• Interest/experience in 3D computer graphics an shader programming.
• Experience or courseworks in computer graphics or computer vision.
• Knowledge of working with large scale synthetic data is a plus.
