We’re building the future of immersive cultural heritage and we need your help. We seek two skilled developers to build new features for Booksnake, an iPhone/iPad app in development at USC. Booksnake uses augmented reality to let users explore digitized historical maps, newspapers, photographs, and more in the real world.
We seek undergraduate students experienced with both Swift and at least one of the following areas:
– Core Data
– ARKit/RealityKit
– NLP using Swift’s Natural Language framework
– Computer vision
Each position pays $3000 for between 8 and 10 hours per week during the 2025–2026 academic year ($1500/semester). These positions are research fellowships funded by the USC Undergraduate Research Associates Program (URAP).
