The following announcement is from Aracely Simental-Ramos. Please contact them directly if you have any questions.
We’re looking for a USC engineering student with strong MATLAB skills to assist with analyzing data from a rodent behavior experiment. The project involves aligning fiber photometry recordings of neural activity (calcium imaging) with behavioral data (mouse licking events). The goal is to create a script that can extract and synchronize these datasets from the experimental output files.
This is a great opportunity to contribute to neuroscience research and gain experience working with real biological data.
If you’re interested or would like more information, please reach out to Aracely at asimenta@usc.edu.
